1st Delta Federal Credit union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution.

Our mission is to serve members’ needs by encouraging savings and offering a reasonable rate of return, and providing personal and other loans to develop or improve the overall community. The credit union also provides credit counseling for the purpose of empowering our membership.

Our goal is to provide the best possible financial services and products to our members at competitive rates, and to maintain the credit union’s long-term stability.

Credit Unions are not-for-profit financial institutions formed by individuals seeking a safe place to save money and lend their pooled savings to one another. 1st Delta Federal Credit Union is the only community development credit union in Quitman, Panola, Tallahatchie, and Coahoma counties in Mississippi.
Our History

1st Delta Federal Credit Union was established in August 1981. It was organized to meet the needs of those who could not acquire adequate financing from the local banks, and could only receive loans from finance companies charging very high interest rates. Since it inception, 1st Delta has help many families and individual members, making loans over $11 million dollars since 1982. Loans are made to members in good standing to consolidate bills, purchase cars, homes, tuition cost, and for your other pressing financial needs.
