GOOD NEWS . . . Member's Choice Disability monthly insurance premiums have been reduced effective January 1, 2010. Insurance premiums added to your loan on February 1, 2010 reflect the reduced premium.
The rate for the disability insurance has been reduced from $2.26 per $1,000 to $1.50 per $1,000. Also, members are eligible for coverage until age 70. Previously, coverage stopped at age 66. Contact KEECU for details.

Your Share Accounts are Federally Insured
All share accounts and share draft accounts (checking) at KEECU are federally insured through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) which is operated and managed by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Even though KEECU is state chartered and regulated by state authorities, it is a federally insured state chartered credit union.
On October 3, 2008, the NCUSIF increased the insurance coverage maximum from $100,000 to $250,000. KEECU’s policy for an individual account remains at a maximum account balance of $100,000.
